Summer Block Party
Cue the grills, boom boxes and 6,000 hand painted and silkscreened block sides because we’re ready to party. We’ve had a lot of requests over the last few years for new block sets. We’ve been steadily working to create a set to release. This means making paintings on all 6 sides and then breaking them all apart rotating them and starting again on over 800 wooden blocks, giving each side the love they deserve. With all that goes into these, the final product is a beautiful mix of abstract textures, images, color and typography. We try to pack a nice mix into each box. You can rotate them and stack them however you like. They live perfectly on a shelf, coffee table or desk. The blocks are part of the DNA of our work from prints, to paintings and sculpture. All handmade, painted, spray painted and silkscreened, they build up a beautiful surface and quite literally are the building blocks of so much that comes from the studio.
